How-To: Anna has multiple options to her disposal, as follows:
She can store her passwords in Word Processing documents and upload those Word Processing documents. (Suppl#17.) To maintain her passwords, she would have to edit the external document, then edit the Record as in Suppl#19 and “Replace” the attached file.
She can store her passwords in the “Description” field of a new Record(Suppl#17). The advantage here is that there is no external file involved, therefore the Record is easier to maintain.
Ultimately, Isabelle can store each password or cluster of passwords, into separate Records, grouped using Tags. (Suppl#13.) For example, she could have passwords related to “Work”, “Personal”, etc. This would allow her to Share certain passwords with other parties if need be.
In all cases, Isabelle tags all password Records with Tag “Passwords”, allowing her to quickly find her password-related records in the future.
Variation: Share only some passwords with a 3rd party.
Premise: Isabella wants to share her media platform passwords to her now adult son, David. Those include passwords for Netflix, Amazon Premium, River, cable providers, etc.
How-To: If Isabella has been well-organized, then media platform passwords would either be in a separate attached document already, or be tagged with Tag “Media Platform passwords”. This would now allow her to share only those passwords, without sharing any other private information and passwords.
If media platform passwords are not stored anywhere in her Profile separately from her other passwords, Isabelle has no choice now but to separate them accordingly by creating new Records (Suppl#17) and tagging them accordingly with Suppl#13.
One way or another, Isabelle now has all media-platform related passwords tagged with “Media Platform passwords”.
All she needs to do next is access her Tags (Suppl#24) and enable “Share NOW” for Contact “David” on Tag “Media Platform Passwords”. Contribution rights would remain OFF, to prevent David from making any changes to Isabella’s password records.
